The Channel Tunnel
Infographic
For this project, I was tasked with visualizing information about one of the seven world wonders of engineering in a 20x30 poster format. I chose the Channel Tunnel–the longest underground railway in the world.

Objective
The goal of this poster was to create a clear, logical, and visually appealing poster that utilized several different types of charts, maps, and illustrations to share information about the Channel Tunnel. This project was then expanded to include a motion graphic that could be played inside a train station while passengers wait to board.
Process
I started with research and then started to sketch oput how to visualize qualitative and quantitative data in a way that related to the excavation and running of the Channel Tunnel.

I was focused on the boring of the tunnel and the feats that followed after the tunnel was established. To visualize this, I created a cross-section of the Dover straight where the tunnel is located and strategically placed information as it related to the illustration.
